CAAT co-hosted 2002 Chinese New Year celebration party on February 10th at USF Special Event Center


March, 2002

On March 2, CAAT hosted the First Man's Basketball Tournament at USF.


Late March, some CAAT members  joined a camping at a state park to celebrate Chinese New Year. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and one we hope to do again.


May, 2002

On May 4th, CAAT joined Asian Feast with other communities in downtown Tampa. CAAT fashion show was a great success.


June, 2002

On June 15, members enjoyed a cookout for Father's day at Latus Lake Park in north Tampa.


July, 2002

CAAT hosted a seminar on the subject of college application and college life on July 28, 2002 at Ho Ho Choy Restaurant. Five keynote speakers were invited. They are USF Professor Yin;  Peggy Lim, student of  Harvard  University; Mr Jianguo  Chen; Mr Dachuan Zhao  and  his  son Zijia Zhao, who had  been  accepted  by the University  of Pennsylvania.


September, 2002

To help new USF students in settling down, CAAT had organized a yard sale on September 8, 2002 at USF campus. The event had received many supports from both CAAT members and their families as well as friends.


CAAT jointly hosted a casino cruise party on the night of Sept. 20  to  celebrate the traditional Chinese Mid - Autumn Festival. In addition to the gambling and dinner buffet, we had a wonderful full-moon night on the sea. Mooncake with hot tea were served. November, 2002

On November 23, CAAT hosted the first of its health seminars. The topic of the seminar was about the health issues in the middle-aged. Four speakers were invited including Dr. Cui Dongmin, Ms Dong Lisha, Dr. Liang Shan and Dr. Amanda Wu.
